About Us
Long before SUKUNJ was a brand, it was a place — the flowering bower where every petal knew a secret, where beauty didn't need an occasion to bloom. We borrowed that garden and gave it a home online, so that every woman getting ready for her moment — a sangeet, a farewell, a festival night, or just a Tuesday she decided to wear colour — could find her own six yards of bloom.
SUKUNJ began with a simple belief: a saree shouldn't be something you inherit the rules for. It should be something you fall into — playful, glamorous, unmistakably yours, and still carrying every bit of the tradition that made it beautiful in the first place.
What we do
We curate and craft sarees for the woman who wants tradition with an edge — Banarasi weaves, hand-painted chiffons, Kalamkari, Ajrakh, Chikankari, Organza and more, brought together under one roof and dressed for every occasion life actually asks for: Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Engagement, Reception, Farewell, Festive evenings, even the office. Whatever the moment, there's a drape in the garden for it.
